Due to the high pressure from school, parents and society, as Chinese student, we do not have too much spare time to work, even as a part-time worker. However, I utilized the limited spare time to make effort to contribute to the society, to get the experience and to care about people around me.Generally, most of jobs I did were voluntary.
I am the leader of the School Youth Volunteer Association, and I had taken part in the Red Cross Association in China, accompanying senior citizens in alms-house for several years.
After the 512 Earthquake happened, I joined the relief in one of the most disastered area which is Shifang.
I had a part-time job at McDonald's, and I donated all the money I earned to the people from the disaster area.
